Spherical Plain Bearings - Rod Ends
Spherical bearings and spherical end rods support rotating shafts that move at an angle while rotating to accommodate for shaft misalignment. They are used for articulating joints, such as control rods, steering links, and tie rods. Spherical bearings (also known as ball end bearings, ball joint bearings, or Heim Joints) are compact, making them ideal for joining moving parts in confined spaces where a spherical rod end can't fit. Spherical end rods (also know as rod-end bearings) securely connect shafts or linkages on moving components in vehicles and industrial equipment. They have a mounted spherical bearing on a rod to join two components.
